2. Summary

• The App is designed for offline reading of the Mukhtasar Khalil text.
• We do not collect personal information from you.
• We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or account sign-in.
• Reading progress, bookmarks, settings, and similar preferences stay on your device.
• Uninstalling the App removes on-device App data.

3. Information we collect

We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data through the App. In particular, we do not collect:

• Name, email address, phone number, or other contact details
• Location data
• Payment or financial information
• Photos, files, contacts, or messages
• Advertising identifiers or analytics profiles
• Crash reports or usage analytics sent to us

The App does not require you to create an account. You can use it without signing in.

4. Information stored on your device

To provide core reading features, the App may store the following information locally on your device only:

• Reading progress and “continue reading” position
• Bookmarks
• App settings (for example language, theme, and font size)
• Local search history (if used)
• Optional offline chapter cache for smoother reading

This information is not uploaded to our servers. We do not operate a user-data backend for the App in the current release.

5. How we use information

On-device data is used only to operate App features you choose to use — such as remembering where you stopped reading, restoring your preferred appearance, and showing your bookmarks.

6. Sharing of information

We do not share App user data with third parties because we do not collect it. The current release does not include advertising networks, analytics providers, social logins, or crash-reporting services that transmit personal data to us or to others.

7. Advertising

The App does not contain advertisements and does not use AdMob or similar ad SDKs.

8. Permissions and network access

The release version of the App is built for offline use of bundled content. Opening our website from within the App (for example from an “About” or support link) uses your device’s normal browser / system handling and is subject to that browser’s and your network provider’s practices.

9. Children’s privacy

The App is a reference work of Islamic jurisprudence and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. Data retention and deletion

Because App preferences and reading data remain on your device, you can remove them by:

• Clearing the App’s storage in your device settings, or
• Uninstalling the App

We do not retain a separate copy of that on-device information on our systems.

11. Security

We design the App so that personal data is not transmitted to us. On-device storage is protected by your device’s operating-system security. No method of electronic storage is perfectly secure; please keep your device updated and locked.

12. International users

The App may be downloaded in different countries. Because we do not collect personal data through the App, we do not transfer App user personal data internationally.

13. Website visit and download counts

Our public download page may display anonymous visitor and download totals. These counts are stored as simple numbers through a third-party counter service and do not include your name, email, phone number, or precise location. They are used only to show approximate popularity of the download page.

This website counting is separate from the App. The App itself still does not collect personal data as described above.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do.
